Petsi collects information you provide directly and information needed to operate the app.
- Account information such as your email address and login credentials.
- Profile information you choose to add, including your display name, profile photo, and location details.
- Pet information, including pet names, photos, profile details, health records, and related care information you choose to save.
- User content you create, including posts, moments, chat messages, pet transfer requests, and pet-sitting requests or inquiries.
- Photos selected from your device when you upload a profile image, pet image, or other content.
- Location information if you choose to allow location access, including current coordinates or location labels used to fill nearby area and city for pet-sitting features.
- Push notification tokens and related device metadata used to deliver notifications.
- Technical and usage information needed to operate, secure, and debug the service, such as authentication state, error logs, and service metadata.
How we use information
- To create and manage your account and authenticate your access.
- To store and display your pet profiles, health records, social content, and messages.
- To support pet transfer, chat, social, and pet-sitting features.
- To use your selected photos and uploaded media in the content you choose to publish.
- To use your location, when permitted, to fill location fields and help surface nearby pet-sitting posts or requests.
- To send push notifications and in-app notifications about messages, requests, and related activity.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, fix bugs, and improve app reliability.
Device permissions
Petsi may request access to the following device features, only when needed for app functionality:
- Photo library access so you can choose profile pictures, pet images, and other content to upload.
- Location access so the app can fill nearby area and city for pet-sitting posts and help show nearby content.
- Notification permission so the app can send alerts about messages, inquiries, and related activity.
You can change these permissions in your device settings at any time.
Data retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Content associated with your account may remain stored until you remove it or request account deletion, subject to legal and operational requirements.
Your choices
- You may review and update some account, pet, and profile information inside the app.
- You may stop granting location, photo, or notification permissions through your device settings.
- You may request password reset through the app if needed.
- You may use the public deletion page at Account and Data Deletion Request to request deletion of your account, or deletion of some or all of your data without deleting the account where applicable.
Children
Petsi is not intended for children under the age permitted by applicable law to use the service without parental consent. If you believe a child has provided personal information inappropriately, contact us so we can review and address the issue.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may update the effective date above and take additional steps where required by law.
